August 2-3, 2016 -- Hillary's chief military endorser, General Allen, was relieved of duty for misconduct

When retired Marine Corps General John Allen strode out on stage at the Democratic National Convention on the evening of July 28 to offer a war hawk endorsement of Hillary Clinton, the news commentators seemed to suffer from a collective bout of amnesia. Allen, who was joined by a group of B and C List military veteran celebrities to chants of "USA" from the audience, was, like the woman he endorsed for president, under the cloud of a national security leak investigation.

Allen served as the deputy commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in Tampa under the philandering General David Petraeus. Allen assumed temporary command of CENTCOM after Petraeus was assigned to command the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) for Afghanistan. Allen followed Petraeus as commander of the allied forces in Afghanistan. Allen's later military record, like that of Petraeus's, is mired in alleged misconduct.

On February 10, 2013, Allen relinquished command of the ISAD and U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A). That was followed by Allen's request to President Obama a little over a week later to be retired because of his "wife's illness." However, Allen's retirement had more to do with someone else's wife, Tampa socialite Jill Kelley. Kelley was the "honorary ambassador" to U.S. Central Command coalition forces and the honorary consul of South Korea in Tampa.

Petraeus and Allen were the subjects of a multitude of national security investigations by the FBI, the CIA, and the Department of Defense, including the Pentagon's Inspector General and the Defense Intelligence Agency. Allen's many "inappropriate emails" to Kelley cost him not only his job as commander of U.S. and Allied troops in Afghanistan, but also his nomination to become the commander of U.S. forces in Europe (EUCOM). Kelley hosted many parties at her mansion home on Tampa's ritzy Bayshore Boulevard for the CENTCOM and U.S. Special Operations Command top brass, including Allen and Petraeus. Petreaus would later step down as CIA director after he was found to have engaged in an illicit affair with his "biographer" Paula Broadwell.

Petraeus was criminally charged with providing classified material to Broadwell and subsequently found guilty. The investigation of Allen's email contact with Kelley from both Tampa and Afghanistan failed to result in any formal charges, but the cloud of impropriety continues to surround Allen. Allen has found a home in the neocon think tank world of Washington and he hangs his hat at the Brookings Institution and its Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence, which has links to Brookings's Zionist-controlled Saban Center for Middle East Policy, which has dropped the name of Haim Saban from its title to hide its links to Israel.

In 2014, Obama appointed Allen as
Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL). Allen's incompetence in his position from 2014 to October 2015, led to ISIL capturing much of Syria, most of northern and western Iraq, and conducting terrorist attacks, along with its affiliates, in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Indonesia, Nigeria, France, Central African Republic, Australia, Algeria, Thailand, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Somalia, Chechnya, Lebanon, Abu Dhabi, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Niger, Kenya, Canada, Dagestan, Chad, Denmark, China, Uganda, Sicily, United States, Kuwait, England, and Burkina Faso.

The pro-Hillary General Allen left the Marine Corps under a cloud of suspicion about his emails to Kelley. Mrs. Clinton must believe that someone accused of improper emails is an asset to her own improper email-tainted campaign.

CNN and others failed to chyron the fact that Allen was relieved of two commands, ISAF and nominee to EUCOM, because of improper emails to Tampa socialite. As for Allen's team of veterans on stage in Philly, why does the bar scene from "Star Wars" come to mind?

Allen subsequently served Obama in a personal envoy capacity, showing himself to be an incompetent leader in the war against ISIL. The media gave Allen, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a complete pass on his misconduct in uniform and his incompetence as an envoy against terrorism, whatever that is. When Allen rallied a few dozen veterans to the campaign of Mrs. Clinton in Philadelphia, it should have been pointed out as an exercise in futility. While many veterans are upset about Trump's plans to privatize veterans' medical care and his tin ear in attacking a Muslim Army Captain who died in combat, they have even greater antipathy toward Mrs. Clinton, the fake combat veteran of Sarajevo. WMR spoke to the ghost writer of Mrs. Clinton's 2003 autobiography, "Living History." When the ghostwriter pointed out that the passage about Mrs. Clinton coming under sniper fire in Sarajevo was not true, Clinton responded, "I'm paying you to write this book and you'll write what I fucking tell you to write." And Donald Trump flies off the handle?
